Our Business
We are committed to the development of the forestry industry in China.
We are formed to capture the unique opportunity to acquire, grow, harvest and replant standing timber on commercial forestry plantations located in China.

Offering of Notes and Warrants
In May 2005, we succeeded in raising US $195 million from international investors through the issuance of high-yield guaranteed senior notes by Mandra Forestry Finance Limited and warrants to purchase the shares of its parent company. We also raised an additional US $15 million from Sino-Forest Corporation (see below) through the issuance of subordinated notes by the parent of Mandra Forestry Finance Limited. We aim to use the proceeds to acquire commercial forestry plantations in Anhui and neighbouring provinces in China.
Shareholders
Mandra Capital (www.mandracapital.com) has been focused on investment opportunities in China since its inception. Prior to its investment in commercial forestry plantations in Anhui, China, it had completed a significant industrial acquisition in the province.
Morgan Stanley (www.morganstanley.com) is one of the leading investment banks in the world, with a global presence covering 28 countries. It offers access to international capital markets and corporate finance advice to Mandra Forestry.
Sino-Forest (www.sinoforest.com) is a major forestry plantation company operating in China. It provides technical assistance to Mandra Forestry. It is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
