PCT International, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Steve Youtsey with one goal in mind: To become the worldwide leader in broadband connectivity and transmission products. In order to accomplish this, PCT was built on the key tenet of producing the highest quality products for the lowest possible price. PCT has led the CATV industry in a number of areas by emphasizing on innovation and development of a vast manufacturing and logistics operation in Asia. PCT was first to gain acceptance for a best-in-class, digital splitter to better enable two-way communication over coaxial cable. PCT was first to introduce a “mini-fiber node” for deep fiber HFC applications. PCT was first to revolutionize compression connector design by introducing the DRS series compression connector, an all-metal, one-piece design. PCT has become a market leader in each product segment it has explored in the past eight years. It continues to do so with two new initiatives designed to tackle commercial services over optics and the home/commercial structured wiring market. About the Company (5 of 5) APiCA is a newly developed division to accommodate the growing needs of the residential and commercial structured wiring and networking markets. PCT has concentrated on better ways to distribute triple-play services to residences and places of business for nearly a decade. It is now leveraging its experience and manufacturing base to develop better solutions for distributing those services inside the home or business. PCT’s more recent introduction is PCT Shanghai Trading Co., based in Shanghai, China. Everyone is aware of the incredible opportunities of sourcing products in Asia. But most find that it is easier said than done. Typically, small companies do not have the resources to obtain credit facilities to buy most products, let alone the ability move these products efficiently out of China. PCT has spent the last eight years developing such a network of relationships for its own purposes and is now marketing itself as a consultancy company to help other small companies take advantage of everything that is promised by doing business in China. About the Company (3 of 5) PCT is organized into separate and distinct sales silos. There are four sales silos, seen below, established to represent the four major geographies of PCT’s global sales and logistics operations. Each silo maintains its own sales force, inventory, and sales support. PCT recognized early the need to customize its products and sales approach to different markets around the world. Accommodating customer’s time zones, language and cultural differences has been critical in the development of a truly global company. About the Company (4 of 5) PCT is also organized into three major product divisions, PCT, APiCA and PCT Shanghai Trading Company.
